Plot summary: The Queen's new marriage is threatened by her mentally unstable son.
Olivier was criticized for cutting the play by almost half, but this is the best of the filmed versions. Although he was a little too old, he played the part well.
Absolutely spectacular. The choreography for the sword fight was incredibly intense- even more so if you consider the era in which this was made.
Now I'm off to see Burton's version.
