I'd be into a sequel. Sure the dialog isn't reflective of the time, and the acting is a bit tongue in cheek, but it's an honest effort at a modern western. Gimme more. 1 year 3 months ago -

Worst western and 3rd worst film, minimal week plot and characters never got to develop, score was mimic of Once Upon a time in the West. Excellent opening title scene though. Check out Brimstone for better vergence 3 months 4 weeks ago -

Could have been better. He tried for the whole Spaghetti Western revenge killing thing, but put the back story a half of the movie. Spaghetti Western's usually work by having an amoral character change sides several times while trying to work out a singular goal that transcends all of the betrayals (money, revenge, etc). The "hero" in a SW usually benefits from not having an overly developed reason for his revenge or delving into his past. On this level the SW format is a lot like the hardboiled detective format of the 30s and 40s.
I'm a big Ti West fan, but the slow burn approach doesn't work for this genre. It was OK. 1 year 4 months ago
