The best dinosaur movie of all time. The one problem with the Jurassic Park movies is that they depend upon human stupidity to build suspense. I always thought that if you're stupid enough to run around screaming in a dinosaur infested jungle - that you deserve to die.
Hey why not genetically manipulate and create DNA so that we have dinosaurs in a park and humans are foolish enough to think they can control nature? What could POSSIBLY go wrong there?
The number ONE movie when I was a kid. Still today is a totally revolutionary story and idea, with amazing graphics for early 90's.. And I always loved Dinosaurs.
Much better than I expected. I gasped. I yelled at the screen. I looked away in horror. I learned a lesson or two about dinosaurs. And I realized that maybe there really is a good reason why they are extinct while man is roaming around. I loved the fact that different points of views on
genetic cloning
were represented intelligently and without heated debate. Great movie. Why did I wait so long to see it?

Amen to that, off the top of my head I don't think I can even name any other dinosaur movies, Jurassic Park is for Dinosaur movies what Jaws was for shark thriller movies. Accept no substitutes.
The heroes are scientists who don't bat an eye when facing impossible danger. The T-Rex introduction sequence is still thrilling. My only problem now is that the dinosaurs don't have feathers despite all the talk of how close they are in relation to birds. Perhaps in another 20 years, we will discover that this movie had it right all along.
One of the classics. Always loved it and still like it a lot. I think it's the best of the three. Wonderful effects, great actors, beautiful music and lots of fun and action.
As a lover of dinosaurs, I would NOT want this to happen in real life. So scary and creepy and a very dramatic abuse of power by the scientific community. Good to know what would happens if dinosaurs and man both lived together in the same era.

And the movie with the best effects ever. Released in 1993 and the CGI is still more believeable than anything released the last few years.ClassicLady
