I loved the movie. the title is awesome. It's rare seeing some many good unknown actors. The story is crazy but kept me going until the most beautiful ending in history.underrated
pretty cool stylistically but...well, the intense build up to the climax - after so many petites morts along the way, well, left me quite unsatisfied. sexy and visually somewhere between a cool trip and visiting a candy store but ultimately you just don't get a very good meal when eat candy - even really, really good candy. All though, one wonders if Kaboom hasn't sprung from the modern zeitgeist.
Kaboom, a wonderful exploration into new queer cinema, is a beautiful and creative re-imagining of the way films are written and give us storyline, as well as a play on traditional mystery and thriller, glued together with new and exciting transitions for a modern feel and filled with amazing dialogue. This film was extremely fast paced but it really kept the modernistic view together and it had some of my favourite dialogue. I can’t help but praise Araki’s extremely hilarious portrayals of traditonal heterosexual males while simultaneously presenting us with the new wave of blurred sexuality down tot he point of labels becoming obsolete. This film was a wonderful watch and I give it 5 out of 5 stars.
