A dull wannabe analysis of modern society, only enjoyable to spoiled middle class teenagers. The plot is retartedly random, the motivs unbelievabe and cheap.
There werre some nice ideas and visually, it was very appealing, so not sure if I'll downvote.
I found the constant background music irritatingly obtrusive, especially in the first half hour. Still managed to sit out the movie, but was left very underwhelmed.
Captures, in both an abstracted dreamlike fashion and sharp realism, a dark thriller and observation on childhood insanity (amped up to 11). Terrific visual sense and power throughout. The cruel animal bullying, blossoming romance, and blissfully oblivious or cruel adults, are all captured and placed into a blend of indie atmosphere and unrestrained cynicism. With no stone left unturned and affecting all others, what follows feels almost like a foregone conclusion and throws even the basic assumption of the importance of life into doubt. Recommended.

Movie is 94% slo-mo, 6% sped up. 100% garbage.starnamedstork
Loved it. And I want those cloud shots compiled in a screensaver. Also, am I the only one who liked the music?
@greenhorg: Who was in turn inspired by and dedicated the movie to Andrei Tarkovsky.

Confessions (2010). Stylish & somber Japanese multi-layered Murder Mystery / Revenge Thriller, focused on a teacher & her young pupils. 7/10.Follow me on Twitter @LastFilmSeen

I assume all the hyper-cinematic slo-mo was inspired by Lars von Trier's Antichrist (2009).Sludge
My favorite part of the movie was the "irritatingly obtrusive" music. Boris is god tier music.Joculator

Suffers a little from believability at times but is very well made. Not exactly a fun watch though.nosex
