This should've really been a mini tv series, not a film. Based on the structure and the plot, it actually looks like a mini series that's been cramped into 2 hours with parts that have been skipped in the process.There's a lot happening and not everything makes sense or is explored as much as it ought to be. The romance between Gregoire and Marianne is ridiculous, the relationship between Mani and the other girl isn't explored at all (I don't mean romantically, but in general. Who was she? What was the point of her character?), and the list goes on and on. The biggest problem for me, however, was the main protagonist. There were so many interesting characters that were left in the sidelines and whose storylines could've been better developed instead of Gregoire's who was basically a boring and annoying a-hole.

Lastly, if you want to watch this because you think it's going to be a horror film, don't. If you want to see Cassel and Belluci, do - their characters were wonderful.

Interesting French movie with some nice actors, a brilliantly insane Vincent Cassel and a lovely visual appearance. I also found it really exciting and suspenseful most of the time - I've watched it a couple of times but sadly my attention fades every time towards the end

when the main character avenges his friend Mani, or maybe even some time before that. From then on it's just somehow boring to me and I can't even really explain why.

Well, but apart from the ending I like the movie.

Unlike many people, really hated it - plot and characters didn't make me care at all, the fight scenes are lame, and once a horribly done "Beast" appears, there was no chance the movie would conquer me back. Not even the naked women made it a worthy watch.
