This one doesn't stand up too well to serious criticism, so better just to say that it's an enjoyable film with plenty of genuinely funny moments. I do find it a tad pathetic though that Guillame Canet felt the need to inject so much borrowed American spirit into his production. I miss the days when French culture could stand alone! Okay, to be honest, I wasn't alive then, but still...ExPtreize

By the end I'd grown quite involved in the character's lives, and been moved from a position of acid satire, even dislike, through to sympathy. We all know or have met people like these, and maybe even been them.obsscura
