Brault and the rest of the crew seem to be relishing the freedom of mobility and proximity, and the opportunities it affords for intimacy and spontaneity. Although it is a joyous document of a peculiar social custom, the film is mostly interesting as an innovation in documentary form.
@Ebbywebby: It's not a very professional way to do it, but again it seems to be done for fun by amateurs, and not to fall too easily.
