Completely cheesy and silly in parts and I don't think I really buy 'Michael York: Action Hero' but the sets are neat, the effects aren't bad, the wire work is amazing and it's all sort of kitschy and fun.
It's 70's sci-fi that never quite gets off the ground, but it still remains somewhat entertaining. It deals with several serious issues but only scratches the surface of them and seems content with just moving on. With a bit of better writing it could have been much better.
A classic from the 70s, it's a must-see example of its type. Somewhat sexy with some twists and reasonable effects. And if you like, unintentionally funny.
Not a huge sci-fi fan but I found this very enjoyable. Some of the set pieces were fantastic for the 70s and you can see the whole thing as a great inspirations for some classic science fiction films. Also, Peter Ustinov is brilliant (as always)
Somewhat misleading title: Logan's not running that much - rather walking around smalltalking. Maybe if you play it back twice as fast you'll see him running.

doesn't really stand the test of time....seems very outdated. was probabally inspirational towards newer sci-fi flicks.mathiasa
