What a beautiful film.
This deserves a far better print and subtitles than those on the DVD available commercially in North America. See KG for vastly better quality on both fronts.

If the western films sometimes show the birth of society within a small city, Ray shows how some of these cities, or their inhabitants, grow in bigger cities.
