I had some hopes for this one, since the director made the excellent Dancing in the Rain. This time however, the attempts at cinema poetry is ruined by bad acting, a plotline who could be for a mediocre tv-movie, slovenian Gainsbourg-wannabe pop music failing or - most of the time - the director being too horny. Best line in the film is spoken by a parrot. There are certain qualities to be spotted (the boy is good) and some of it is entertaining to a degree... But this experience was sadly far from the beauty of Dancing in the Rain. 9 years 1 month ago
