An important film to watch, but the production itself is not good, feels very B. Only drama on IMDB, but it is also sci-fi a bit into the future as most women in India have already died out due to boys being valued higher and baby girls are murdered. The few girls who are left and found (!), are bought very expensively and are used cruelly and diligently.
A horrible act, but useful to see - the afterword claims that today in India genocide of 50 million girls / women has already been committed. 3 years 5 months ago -
