A memorable scene which points forward to the famous subtitled scene in Annie Hall, some cool chemistry between Tracy and Bennet and a great dialogue about coffee. The rest is mostly dated comedy and sound recording problems.
I thought the dialog was snappy and playful between Spencer Tracy and Joan Bennett. I've seen other movies with worse sound problems than this one. This may not be a Spencer Tracy gem but it is definitely worth the time viewing.
Rather agree, lauli. It's ok enough, but the humor isn't as "cute" as they think and it's an excellent showcase of how the early 30's struggled with sound.
