Every generation has its meteor extinction event movie like Armageddon or Deep Impact and it's not too hard to see why. It's seen as the penultimate motivator of human cooperation when the entire planet is going to go bye-bye and this one is no different under the guise of American-Soviet teamwork. Not very good despite a solid cast and frequently falling into cliché, it suffers from not fully diving into the conflict between the Cold War superpowers and totally bypasses any solid drama that you would certainly expect would arise from it. 7 months 2 weeks ago
