Art for art's sake and seemingly "apolitical" studies of, in this case at least, strongly political characters probably are the most idiotic liberal approaches I can think of. What's next now? Criterion releasing a goddamn biopic on how interesting Miguel Serrano was? Fuck off.

Also, it's funny though how you need a lot of liberal premises and exculpations just to get fascist weeaboos really excited as a result.
