Not quite horror, but won't remove it either. They say it's the most faithful adaptation and yet it's not actually that well-made. 8 years 8 months ago -

I don't think this hit me quite strongly enough for me to favorite it, but I'm shocked that it seems like most aren't responding well to it. It's definitely this version of the story (admittedly one I'm not particularly drawn to) that appealed to me the most, more than the Lon Chaney or Charles Laughton versions, and absolutely more than the heinous Disney version. Truly a tragedy, so maybe that's what everyone's being turned off by. 5 years 5 months ago
