This was good when you got into the groove and started feeling the "characters" and "plot" a bit more. So be prepared to be annoyed by pretty shots of characters declaiming poetry and quoting books in overlapping dialogue for a few minutes. Just don't dismiss it as pretentious crap (even though it is). There are a lot of ideas here, some even profound and quite touching. It won me over-- aphorisms and love conquer all.
