One of my favorite Bond films ever. Yes, the one with George Lazenby. But look at this thing. The iconic ski sequence, Diana Rigg as Bond's wife, Telly Savalas with real presence as Blofeld, that genius bobsleigh chase (one of my favorite action scenes in anything ever), and the ending is shocking and incredibly touching. TOUCHING! How many Bond films can we say that about? And Lazenby isn't a problem for me because you know what? I don't think I would have believed Connery's Bond falling in love. That guy was such a bastard with women that I would have always assumed it was some kind of trick. What's distracting about the actor changes (yes, plural) is how to place OHMSS in continuity. They rather stress the fact that it's the same Bond as Connery's in the teaser, the opening sequence, and a scene featuring "souvenirs" from the other movies. But then, he and Blofeld don't recognize each other despite having come face to face in You Only Live Twice! Well, afterwards, I put my mind to it and decided OHMSS takes place between Thunderball and YOLT, as there's no souvenir for the latter movie. SOLVED! NEXT!

Diana Rigg might be my favorite Bond Girl in the entire franchise.

Lazenby is much more likable as Bond than Connery to me. I wish he was in more films.
As for the film itself, it was pretty good. The ending was fantastic for a Bond film. But the title sequence was laughably bad. Also, some scenes were really bizarre and I'm not sure if it was intentional or not.

One of the very best James Bond films. George Lazenby does an excellent job, and I'm going to make a sacrilegious statement that I think he's a better Bond than Sean Connery. (SHOCK! HORROR!)

The ending to this movie is magnificent, I feel something every time I watch it.

Odd, different but still exciting Bond Movie. Great ski sequence. Lazenby is ok but rest of the cast is top notch. Only thing that still bothers me is the fact that Blofeld met Bond in the previous movie and now doesn't recognize him?

But fun!!!! Blu Ray looks and sounds great!

Lazenby is certainly a bizarre choice after Connery and he was really inconsistent. some scenes i thought he was great but others just lacked any charisma and the one liners were almost all terrible. Direction was good, may have been too long though.

Aside from the shoddy acting, underwhelming and title sequence it was really good. Even thought, each one liner sounded incredibly unnatural, I found Lazenby to be a more interesting Bond. The fact that all actions sequences are really intense helps too. Oh stay tuned for the ending. I will get really disappointed if spoiler

Was just fine as bond, but his voice was rather annoying

I found George Lazenby odd as 007.

I don't fault Lazenby here but the inconsistent script, storyline, and direction. Reminded me much of Skyfall for those reasons---they were wanting to break the mold of previous Bond pictures, and it was too jarring.

The quips that I usually love seemed to fall flat in this film. The debate on Lazenby's competence will likely rage on long after my existence, but I think we can all agree anything is better than ole' Timmy Dalton.
