Hilarious! I actually love the "dated" comedy - the communists, capitalist, and the odd German joke. It's so fast-moving, too, in the end. Fantastic!

Agree the material does not stand the test of time, and the plot seems lifted straight out of a sitcom. But it's worth the price of admission just to see Cagney's tour de force comedic performance in the third act.
