Costner was kinda boring in this movie, tho he did great in some of the action scenes. Overall the movie is good, but a little slow/boring. 4 bags of popcorn
The first half was rather slow but the second half made up for it in action and romance. The build up to the gunfight was tense and the gunfight itself was exciting - in fact better than others I've seen. Overall, a decent movie with a good cast.
I found this movie on my shelf and put it on without having any expectations - This is the best Western I've seen!
Kevin Costner is a really talented director. It's really nice shot and the music is fantastic. The avoidable duel in the end is the best gun fight ever, with the scenes from Heat in second place.
I've never laughed so hard at an action movie. The main climax which lasts about 60 minutes has some of the worst action directing I've ever seen. This resulted in my laughing continually throughout. Then the movie ends but keeps going for 20 more minutes....

I quite liked it.At times, the dialogue wasn't the best, and it did drag on a little, but I think it was pretty good, over all.
