We did a drinking game to this movie: drink every time you see green slime, something disgusting or something WTF. Finish your entire glass every time you see boobs or something racial!

I hope you realize that nearly all, if not all, Troma films are horror-comedies. It's just a different flavor of comedy.

And who is it embarrassing for? It's clearly not embarrassing to them if they enjoy what they do. And especially if they have a fanbase that takes part in their films. That is just fun filmmaking.
