This is a complex and confusing movie. It explores the theory of time-paradox until your brain hurts. Great for sci-fi and time travel movie fans. I watched it with a group of friends, and it left us stunned. Not a big-budget movie... watch it for the story.

Didn't understand anything the first half hour. I really want to watch this movie because of the positive comments but I just can't, I feel dumb :(

Bad movie making. That's all this movie rakes of. It does have an interesting concept. But, the way it was portrayed was just too boring and unprofessional.

I really like the ideas (the concept wasn't difficult for me to grasp) that were explored, but the execution was way off. It shifted around too much and had too many vague scenes thrown one after the other.

I like to rewatch a clever film to pick up on the things that I missed, but I won't be watching Primer again since it seemed purposely unclear.

Not too sure that I completely understand it yet, but reading Wiki afterwards helped a little. I need to watch it again (and again..) to fully grasp it I guess -.-

Impressed production values when you consider its 7k budget. It baffles that a $100m Hollywood blockbuster probably wouldn't be half as intelligent, heh.

The more I think about this, the less I like it. Technobabble garbage.

Seems the director missed the "show, don't tell" memo.

After watching this I have a few questions.

What is this?
Why hasn't there been a sequel yet?
Why is this not in the Sci-Fi list?
How did they manage to make a movie this good with what Hollywood actors get paid per day?

This is by far, and I'm talking distances only Shane Carruth could understand, the most confusing movie I have seen this year. But at the same time I aboslutely loved it, and I hope there will be a sequel. I understand that a sequel is a risky move, especially when you make a one of a kind-movie, but go back to a small budget, include as many original actors to make the story work, and make something completely strange and confusing one more time.

As for Sci-Fi, this needs to be in the Sci-Fi list, this is way better than some of those movies.

As a low budget indie film, I'd give this a good 8-9/10. If you compare it to big budget productions, I'd say 6-7/10 is more realistic, which is still quite decent.

What a BRILLIANT movie! I was holding my breath through most of the last half. The intense thumping of the music made the atmosphere breathtaking, exciting and anticipating. The idea of common objects being used to spoiler is not new but brilliantly presented here in an every-day-man sort of way. The moral dilemmas are definitely things to think about for a long time to come. I will watch this movie again and again, just to relive the drama and be sure I didn't miss anything.
