Rambo was actually quite good on it's own feet and extremely good in the Rambo series. I found it more enthralling the either of the first two sequels and close with First Blood. Through the rape, gore, guts, and blood it is fantastic finale.
Record-holding gore and brutality in this one. Now if you add a star or subtract it from your rating due to this is up to you - apart from the over the top violence, there's not much left in terms of characters or story. As a pure action film, it's a solid outing, more than I expected.

It's nuts how generic the plot is. Pretty much an 80 minute cliché that you've seen dozens of times in other films. A ton of gore, but more often than not it's just gore for its own sake which feels tacky after it goes on and on.Kublai Khan

One of the worst movies I have ever seen, when that girl is talking to Rambo you just want to twist her neck around for being such a shitty actor.
