Given the troubled filming of this with people dropping out I fully expected this to be a terrible mess.

Super-solid 90s corruption (action-)thriller foundation here with a lot of anger and badassery. Over 2 hours sounds too long for that kind of thing, but Saulnier doesn't waste a minute in his script. Aaron Pierre and that dirty motherfucker Don Johnson are perfect!
