I am very surprised that this movie didn't garner more acclaim. The acting is phenomenal, as you would expect from DiCaprio and Winslet, but also from support roles such as Bates. The plot is also excellent, with a pretty spot on portrayal of spoiler

Joker of Gotham

This movie is all right, great drama, I really like the acting of the two main actors, is great to see Kate and Leo together.
Michael Shannon, he is a great actor, he was really good in the movie but it was worthy of a academy award nomination? I don´t think so, there was other talent that year with better performances and he barely appears in the movie.

Great book, mediocre movie. It pretty much boils it down to a series of intense arguments. Great work by Michael Shannon though.
