Cartnoonish, totally ridiculous sequel. Forget character development and let yourself be VERY entertained by great score, training montages and fight scenes. Loved it as a 13 year old and still enjoyed 33 years later.

This movie came out 6 years before I was even born so I have basically been bitter about spoiler all my life.

Pure 80's melodramatic cheese as the Cold War moves to the boxing ring. Music, several montages, and a robot! It's silly but fun. 6/10.

The ultimate montage-film, and I like to think that Rocky himself ended the Cold War.

The only good thing in this movie is that James Brown is in it..

Rocky IV throws everything at you. From a robot, James Brown, a monosyllabic Soviet Superhero, and an over dramatic death make this movie a mess. But it is the end fight that makes this a classic Cold War action flick.
