This is more raw and realistic and shows how it is and not how people would like to see it is.

Verry brutal and destructive scenes of violence, hate, friendship and despair.

Great and realistic movie.

Riveting. Feels raw and powerful, especially in the action scenes bringing home the violence endemic in the characters' lives.

I agree with MrCarmady, it is better than Amerincan X. Best perfomance of Russell Crowe I've seen so far.

This is definitely better than American History X (though that's a good film), because it makes almost no attempt at rationalisation, which the former has so much of it seems like a cop-out.
Definitely not something I'd wanna see again though.
