The blu-ray transfer finally gets this right after failed attempts and horrible prints. The color filters are still odd, but at least they are timed correctly and don't completely overwhelm the shots.
On a personal note, Mitzi Gaynor had one of the cutest butts I've ever seen.
Quite a long movie, but it was nice to hear so many of the famous songs sung in their original context. The stories behind "I'm in Love with a Wonderful Guy," "Bali Ha'i," and especially the many depths of "Some Enchanted Evening." You just gotta love "There Is Nothing Like a Dame" at the beginning. The poor guys! As has been mentioned before, the color filters were a little distracting. My favorite character was Lt. Cable, and I must admit, the combat sections of the movie caught my attention more than the romance. But that's just me. I'm glad to put another classic under my belt.

Despite the length it felt like a rushed Casablanca 6/10VChile
