I watched about 15 minutes of this. Does it get any better? So far it's just about the biggest trainwreck of a movie I've seen in a long time.

It's a glorious trainwreck of a movie. There is no way to tell whether some scenes come from brilliance or bad taste.

I'd say it's a sound mix of those, something like the Nicolas Cage of movies. I love it, it cracks me up every time. Not for everyone though.

My advice for watching Southland Tales: don't take it seriously, watch it with a pizza and an open mind. Don't worry about not getting all the story, if you enjoyed the movie you can always force a friend to watch it with you again.

i am all for quitting out on a movie cause it bores you or you dont think you are going to like it but i HATE people judging films they havent taken time to actually view in its entirety.
