I'm kind of familiar with Star Trek franchise. I've seen two and a half episodes of the original show, I know a little bit about Star Trek from all kinds of media (Plinkett's reviews mostly). I admit that Wrath of Khan is a good sci-fi film, but still I couldn't get into it at all. I sometimes hear people saying that they cry everytime they see
Spock dying or even when they hear the music from
his funeral or whatever. Well, I believe it was emotionally engaging to some people, but I couldn't care less when all that was happening. Which just once again proves that you DO need to watch the series in order to like the movies (even though hundreds of Star Trek fans claimed otherwise).
Second installment of the Star Trek series is much better than the first one. Good story, great villian, humor, action and a moving ending. Hadn't seen it in years but still a lot of fun. Next week, part III :-)
