Watched the director's cut and while I had no expectations, can't say I was impressed. Act 1 felt like a TV pilot. Act 2 was interesting but spoiled by Act 3's flip from silly to lackluster ending. Interestingly, the only POC was the maid? But hey, at least they didn't normalize bestiality like in the prior film. Honestly, if I'd missed this one, it wouldn't have mattered. While LPS had a freshness, this one felt much more stale, more Hollywood, with it's stars and being shot in color. 5 months 2 weeks ago
