   A heartwarming tale of a psychotic thug who gives up a life of crime for more crime. But it's OK because he gives a bottle of stolen whisky to a man who helped him forget about the fact he blinded a stranger for no real reason. 6 years 6 months ago

   It's good for the first half, but as soon as the plot kicks in it becomes horribly sentimental and predictable as no Scottish sterotype is left unplundered;

   I mean for God's sake the plot revolves around cheeky Scots thieves stealing whiskey while wearing kilts. I'm surprised they didn't make their getaway on the backs of wild haggises.

   Not as funny as it could have been. Too much of the humour has a dumbed down four-weddings feel, and the supporting characters overdo it on the whole whacky-scotsmen thing. Good in places though, and heart warming enough. 11 years 6 months ago
