What an amazing cinematography, there's no Scorsese film that would dissapoint me neither does Leonardo di Caprio. Great cast, script and art photography. I think it does not have the recognition that deserves.

Joker of Gotham

What a great movie, in my opinion this movie is better that Million Dollar Baby.
Damn you Jamie Foxx, why did you did such a fantastic job in the same year that Leo?
DiCaprio was amazing like always, Cate Blanchett was also pretty good in her role.
The only think that I dislike in the movie is the lack of information in the end of the movie, what happened to Howard Hughes, what did he do with his disease? These are questions that should be answered-

This is my favourite role of Di Caprio, it's so well done :)

Strange and rambling, like a fever dream. Equally beautiful, though.

I would agree with the earlier comments: the film is far, far too long.
A biopic nearly 3 hours should probably seek to cover more than 20 years of someone's life. Who's to say there is nothing interesting about his last years as a recluse in Las Vegas, probably loaning sugar to his neighbour Liberace.

Am I the only one who found this movie quite boring? I really love Scrosese's films, but this one isn't that great. The acting was good, but the story just wasn't really interesting for me. This is my least favorite Scorsese picture.

Scorsese deserved an Oscar for this instead of that overrated tripe that came later. Conveys both the epic and quirky feels a Howard Hughes biopic need.

The cinematography and attention to the color details as the movie aged was absolutely brilliant. Leo's best performance as well as Blanchett's. Scorcese brought back this time period perfectly. There is a reason it was nominated for the most Academy Awards that year. Perfect.

@MagicalEddie Have you ever seen a Katharine Hepburn movie? Blanchett's performance is dead-on.
