This is a slow burner if there ever was one. I mean that in a positive sense. I found the movie to be immaculately aesthetic, as expected, and entrancing in a suspenseful and edging manner. I must agree the two main characters could be described as two-dimensional, but I think they successfully achieved their purpose as vessels for the viewer to take part in the eerie narrative. I paid no mind to Walken's accent. He pulls of his character flawlessly, as he usually does.
It's impossible to take this movie seriously because of how atrocious Christopher Walken's accent is - how on earth were the other actors able to do a scene with him?
