Pretty spectacular. The movie sets in this film stagger the imagination, including the largest outdoor set ever made, a 92,000 square meter replica of the Roman Forum. It manages to straddle the fine line between an epic movie and focusing on individual characters so that they don't melt into the sea of extras. Plummer, Loren, and Boyd give great performances and as always you can't go wrong with the acting ability of Sir Alec Guinness. 5 years 4 months ago
