For me, it was a surprisingly good movie. I didn't expect too much of it, but after all I really enjoyed it. I like it when Luc Besson makes comedy and love it when he does it with such great actors like Robert De Niro and Tommy Lee Jones. Btw the others were good too. 8/10
One of Besson's worst films. I appreciated some of its playful sociopolitical criticisms (that go both ways), the workman performances, and the gleefully cartoonish moments, but 110 minutes is too much for such uninspired material. The sillier the scenes are the more interesting the direction though, reminding me of Chuck Jones. Too bad those scenes are few and far between.
I enjoyed this although not quite funny enough to be a comedy for me.
Michelle, Robert and Tommy deliver as usual but the actors that play the kids aren't great and it spoils it for me.
Nevertheless I enjoyed it but don't expect too much.
Very good movie! Creative and funny. Keep in mind that it's intentionally very unrealistic though. It's more than ok for me but I know many will have problems with that. 8/10
