First one was the best in my opinion, just the right amount of weirdness and tension. Second one was quite disturbing, towards the end it was just nightmare fuel lol and the third one, it was just... fine I guess. I still enjoyed everything overall, really liked the creative design of the characters and scenery around them, everything was really pretty.
I really enjoyed this and it's a pity there is no cover image or director info, etc. Three tales of aspirations and destruction, the first two would have bloody terrified me if made with humans. Recommended if you like your quirk.
One of the best pieces of media I've seen in a while. The first one is the clear standout for both story and animation, but the third one really becomes something beautiful. Absolutely **love** the fabric animation. Very creative and novel.
It felt like a love letter to melancholy stop-motion Tim Burton like James and the Giant Peach and Nightmare Before Christmas. Each story captures a different side, from the dark and disturbing to the more whimsical gothic. If you enjoy American/British gothic like that you'll love this.
It's difficult not to compare but it reminds me of the anime movie Memories that's also 3 different stories with the first as the strongest contender (written by the legendary Satoshi Kon).
to see which of your friends have seen this movie!
