I've only ever seen the first Hunger Games film, and I thought it was just a severely toned down version of Kinji Fukasaku's "Battle Royale" for 13 year old girls. Decided to give this a chance.Wow, this series has really grown up, and I'm not talking about the violence. One of my favorite scripts of 2023, and rather excellent as a whole.
