Inevitably, I must compare it to Ang Lee's first Hulk film. You might think the cast is stronger (or at least as strong) with the inclusion of Edward Norton, but I found each character to be slightly miscast, even the new ones. Certainly, I miss Sam Elliot and Jennifer Connelly. In the case of Banner, it works for the first half hour, when he's on the run in Brazil (I quite like that part), but as soon as Betty's back in his life, I guess I don't buy the chemistry. And really, though effects have improved since the first Hulk film, this monster is just as CGI as the other one. I am glad they didn't do another origin story though, simply throwing it out there in the opening sequence, more Incredible Hulk the tv show than the comic. The direction is modern and dynamic, and the story, on the whole, better than Ang Lee's version (which went on for one act too many). So call me... ambivalent, but progressively more positive about, especially after viewing the 45 minutes of deleted scenes (which includes a lot of Doc Samson stuff).

It was okay. There are other Marvel movies I enjoy a lot more but it was alright.

I did like Edward Norton as Bruce Banner although Mark Ruffalo is my favorite Hulk (in the Avengers).

So in this movie I prefered the parts when Bruce was really Bruce. The Hulk and his ugly nemesis looked good but I've seen better and more entertaining action in other Marvel movies. To sum it up, even though my favorite Hulk is somebody else, Edward Norton saved this movie for me and I guess that says a lot about his great acting skills.

Hmm... Not real sure why most think is better than 2003's Hulk... There was some stupid stuff going on in that one but at least it wasn't as bland and boring as this one. I do like how they skipped the origin story stuff and got right into the story they wanted to tell though. I just wish it was more interesting. Ed Norton is a great actor but he wasn't really given a chance to act. It's not like the guy has any memorable lines or anything. No wonder he didn't want to reprise the role for Avengers.

This movie was bad... Hundreds of explosions, weak storyline. I only watched it until the end to see Liv Tyler!

It would be better The Avengers with Edward Norton, but Mark Ruffalo is a great actor too.
The best hulk movie.
Forget Edward Norton, Mark Ruffalo is the best Hulk of all time, The Avengers is such a awesome movie

Wow I fucking hate Liv Tyler.

Anyways the action is cool, but the rest is crap. All in all it's an ok watch.

Despite the horrible portuguese spoken in the movie, it was great. Can't wait for The Avengers

I like this badass version of the Hulk much better than the last one (not that it wasn't enjoyable). A couple of great action scene but the movie would have been better with a couple of more. The acting was just decent to me but it's a comic book movie what can somebody expect.
