Not sure why some place list this as a comedy, it is not.

Surprisingly raw and definitely draws you in. Shame the film was cut by 40 minutes by the studio, does feel more like a documentary than a movie. Another 40 mins would have been fine.

Might not attract you if you've lived a pretty easy and straightforward life but if you've had ups and downs you'll definitely be able to relate to this movie.

I thought I liked Judd Apatow. This was a mess. I virtually/symbolically walked out of the theater at the midway point when I realized the plot wasn't taking me anywhere I felt like going.

Breakout role for Davidson, very impressed by him, as well as Burr. Realistic dialogue that was clear and easy to follow. Some very funny moments, human moments. I was worried the film was going to delve into preachiness or have some kind of deeper message but it ultimately stayed its course of being a "slice of life" film about the struggles of life that we can all relate to.
