It did have quite a few really good jokes, and it started very strong. However, I feel like the last third of the film just dragged, partly from having too many predictable elements and fewer jokes.
When characters such as
Sauron and Voldemort first popped up, I had a chuckle, it was cool to see them so unexpectedly. On the other hand, they weren't very funny or cleverly used, so they felt more like a cheap cameo instead of a parody. With the rich villains commonly seen in Batman movies, it was a weird choice to use villains from other blockbusters instead of fan-favorites like Scarecrow, Penguin, Catwoman, etc. This being a Batman movie, I would have loved to see more of those guys but they barely had a line.
On the plus side, I never really cared for Robin or Alfred, but they were surprisingly funny in this.

take a look at yourself and then make a change. Hoo."

Really enjoyed this movie but have to say I thought it was aimed more at adults than children. But the best DC film in a long time.
