Don't even read anything about this movie. Just amazing!

This movie totally took me by surprise. I was expecting a typical timekiller, and not something actually good. What a pleasant surprise!

It was overall a pretty good movie, although I am not so sure what I think about all parts of the plot. Some parts were way to obviousspoiler. 7,5/10 just because of that.

OMG how cool! So unexpected. And the trailer did not do the film any good. So watch it! What a hidden pearl, mysterious, exciting, unpredictable, of good length. Sci-Fi, firmly believe me, not as you imagine! More odd relationship drama, but positively odd.
Why is this not in any top list?

not what I was expecting, very interesting, I love films like this where its one of a kind, maybe my film knowledge is poor but to what I've seen, I've never seen a film that does anything like this film achieves

Got misguided by the 'geners' in IMDb. Totally unexpected story!

Looks like we have a ... "dreigänger" with The Double (2013) and Enemy (2013).

And I'm starting to understand the rules. First of all the origin of duplicates can never be explained. Aliens? Robots? That sci-fi bullshit doesn't apply to this sophisticated genre... don't be a plebe. Or go watch Orphan Black (2013), low-concept TV clone-trend fiction. SMDH.

Second, your exact duplicate won't like you and will be much more confident and dominant than you. Again, don't ask why. And you better be vigilant or he WILL fuck your woman.

Mark Duplass and Elisabeth Moss are in marriage counseling and are sent to a house in the country to work out their troubles and come back rejuvenated in The One I Love, a well-played and written drama and turns to science-fiction spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler. I guess I think it's better to get into this one with no preconceptions, as you can never really tell where this is going, except maybe at the very end, which seemed pretty obvious. But an intriguing ride until then. The performances were a little cutesy at times, but I think it was justified. A worthwhile little indie in the style of the Twilight Zone that may well give couples food for thought and discussion.

A fantastic first act that gets sadly bogged down by over-plotting. Great turn by Elizabeth Moss and professional sad sack Duplass, though.
