This movie did not standup to my expectations. The book was good, I really liked it and was looking forward to seeing the movie. But, alas, it was a disappointment. The continuity of the story and the focus on Ward and Jack was lost in the movie. I sort of felt that a mistake was made and John Cusack and Matthew McConaughey mixed up their parts.
It could've been so much more.
Trashy pulp movie with good cast starts promising but goes downhill very fast. Story and characters go nowhere, has some pointless shock scenes and a lame dissapointing ending.
