The ancestor of all those films like Wolf Creek, Funny Games, and The Strangers in which fundamentally good people are tormented by sadistic psychopaths. It's been unfairly forgotten because I think it's better than most of its descendants. It delivers a lot of tension and shocking moments. Definitely worth seeking out.
