This would make a great double feature with Spike Island.
There is a moment, when after waiting 20 years and several hours for the chance to see a reunited Stone Roses concert a woman receives her wristband for a free concert and bursts into tears while falling into the arms of her husband. It's a remarkable moment in a solid if unremarkable doc. I love the Roses, I love Shane Meadows, and I love what they tried to do here, but aside from these great fan reactions as a movie it's only going to be for superfans. As a record of pop culture it's a great watch to see those fan moments. Solid, but not the doc I had hoped for. 10 years 6 months ago
