@DieguitoToo religious? This is a movie about the Old Testament, what do you expect? The same thing could be said about LotR: too much fantasy! Yes, it's all fantasy, but the execution and story are terrific and highly enjoyable, even though I do not believe in elves and wizards. I don't even believe 99% of the story of Moses. The Ten Commandments is, compared to others, not even that preachy. Even if it were, I does not mean it would kill the movie. Many propaganda films like Triumph des Willens and the Russian classics are well regarded because they are well made, not because we support their cause or agree with their message.
Awesome movie, and the division of the sea is one of the most amazing moments in special effects ever. And the story, I guess any writer would wish they had written this story.

Hadn't seen this movie in at least 25 years. Great Visuals and spectical. Great storytelling and commanding performances. Only the ending felt a bit "rushed but how can you top the splitting of the sea :-)afan
