   Not a bad film, just not what i expected. If you tell me i can watch a Stephen Hawking movie, this is not what i would have imagined.
   
   Too say it bluntly: this movie could have been about any ALS patient. It only really depicts the struggles of life for a person with ALS, not what Hawking makes Hawking.
   
   What i liked about 'A beautiful mind' is how John Nash thought of his game-changing (see what i did there?) theories, and that is exactly what i missed in this movie. The sequence where Hawking looks in the fire and he has that brilliant idea is beautiful, but overall too short. Maybe they should have focused more on how he was before he got sick and then the struggles he faces with his academic work due to ALS.
   
   But whatever anyone thinks of the story, i wasn't really watching Eddie Redmayne, i was just watching Hawking himself. That's how good he was in this movie. 8 years 11 months ago

   Brilliantly acted, The Theory of Everything also boasts a script that says more in silence at times than it does with dialogue. A livey score makes the film surprisingly and consistently emotional.
   
   The only complaint is that it looks like it's been shot through a Instagram photo filter.
