Haunting film. Apocalyptic fiction is a sub-genre of sci-fi btw. It's not in the wrong category.

Technically speaking, this fits science fiction perfectly. Fiction based on innovations or applications of science.

Still a powerfull "what-if" documentary. But it seems to me a strech to label it sci-fi.

This movie has lost some of its power. Even tough nuclear attack from terrorists or unstable countries like Pakistan could happen, it will not cause the scenario depicted in the movie where Russia carpet bombs the entire UK. It would still be utterly horrible, tough. And no, I don't think the Russians would actually do that anymore...

I would like to buy this film, not Doctor Who: The War Games!
