Wow, I expected it to be awful, but not that awful.

If you can get through "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" without shedding a tear, you have no soul.

The first minutes, in black and white, are splendid. Awesome photography.
After that I must say I didn't enjoy the show. Rather boring.
Funny thing: the Tin Man dance is similar to a dance in a contemporary movie with Buster Keaton I just saw, the Taming of the Snood.

Finally got around to watching this at a MGM Musicals season here in London. Pretty good, especially the performances and 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow', but not really my kind of thing.

Well damn. I love this film, and I love "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," but never once have I shed a tear during it (and I'm the type of person who cries during a lot of films.)

I'm sad to learn that I have no soul. :(
