The humour was often predictable or flat, but the programming schedule of the station made me laugh. I particularly liked how "World of Phlegm" was a 3 hour show. "Wheel of Fish" and "Fun with Dirt". It was parody at the time, but these shows sound much more entertaining than the drivel we have now 25 years later. 6 years 6 months ago

At times UHF is a smart film and is often very funny, but it diverts from the intelligent path as it approaches the third act and digresses into needless parody (though it is Weird Al, so that is not a surprise).

Perhaps the greatest thing to come from this movie is Michael Richards' proto-Kramer performance as Stanley Spadowski.

There are elements of class struggle and capitalism that could have been better discussed in this film, but they fall by the wayside of silliness and clunky scriptwriting.
